The company started 1994,with Mari Molander.Before that she had a long career in Showbiz herself.On stage and in front of the camera.
Former classical dancer,trained ballet since she was 5 years.After High school she auditioned and started The State School of Dance,3 year program in Stockholm.Her first job as a classical dancer was at “Stora Teatern” in Gothenburg.Then decided after 2 years with the company to move to N.Y.C to refine her dance and study with the famous Cechetti teacher Margret Craske.She then applied to Julliard School and came in on the 3 year program.After she was offered a job with Israeli Classical Ballet and moved to TelAviv.Toured with them in Israel but decided to move back to Stockholm,Sweden.
Started a career in Musicals,first with My Fair Lady at the Oscars theatre.She continued as a freelance actress at The Dramatic Theatre,Tv theatre,The State touring theatre,The summer “Park theatre”and with free groups touring all over Sweden with youth theatre.The last 12 years before starting Molander Casting she continued as resident director starting with Les Miserables at the Cirkus theatre.She continued to work with Feauturefilms,Tv Drama,Shortfilms,Musicals,Concerts as an assistant director and director and castingdirector.
With the knowledge of actors,musicalartists,singers,dancers she started
Molander A Casting,and at the same time built up a huge register with feature
extras and extras.
During the 18 years she has casted more than 1000 commercials,a lot of
musicals all around Europe,Tv dramas,Featurefilms,Shortfilms,Events,Stills.
She has built a contactnet with clients in the whole of Europe,clients that come
back,over and over again with new projects.
